Why would an AL team what a DH who can't hit ?

I've always liked Stairs, although I can't believe he hasn't gone to an AL team to be a DH by now.

They decided to start the game in the 6th inning, so you didn't miss much.

Crap, I didn't realize this was a day game :?

It's a reference to a Penn and Teller episode of the same name.

Anyway, looking at our season averages, why wasn't Mike Morse our representative?  He was far and away the best hitter on the team...then again, I can't fault the managers for wanting to win a game in which each pitcher throws an inning or so, thus making relievers invaluable.

Damnit Zim.

Morse leads off next inning with a homer.

It's not.  It's a night game.  Either your watch stopped or you never adjusted for Daylight Savings Time.

Nice catch Bernadina.  Yet another example of why you are a great National who deserves to play every day.

I was being a little sarcastic. The fact that you're not scared of Bourn is what I was referencing. Sure he's k'd a few times, but he has had a damn good series.

Bourn sucks.  I just wish it was Clippard who sent his a$$ back to the dugout instead of Rodriguez.

Being clever is kinda like being humble, if you think you are, you're not.
