Todd Coffey threw 7 pitches and gave up 3 hits.  That's not good.

There are so many bad players on this team.  That's why I think a 90-loss season is still possible.

:lmao: Now Riggleman is at fault too - what a freaking troll.
I have always said that.  From DAY ONE.

you sure?

rizzo's offense is awful.
Yeah, I'm pretty confident we'll play better than .296 ball the rest of the way.

Why, I'm curious?

FP calling out flores
I watched Flores very closely on Sunday in Atlanta.  He is not a major league catcher.  I believe the Braves had four steals, and on the last three he didn't even make a throw.  Not to mention his inability to give signs to Marquis last week.

  Ouch!  :asplode:

On the bright side, Werth got 2 2Bs and an 2-run HR. (I think those were the first extra base hits he's gotten since June, right?)  It seems likely we'll look back on this game as the one in which he finally broke out of his slump.

If we can sweep LA, we'll come back home 1 game over .500 correct? I'm just hoping for 2 of 3 to come back home .500

I can't wait for the local media to defend Davey.

It's getting really difficult to listen to the radio.

The game has passed him by - we need Bo Porter.

What ever happened to our depth at catcher? Norris, Flores, etc.  Maybe we need to hang onto Pudge.

today is a must.

you know how much it'd suck to lose today, have to wait all day today ... all day tomorrow ... and all day friday until 10 EST to attempt to get our next win?

god it feels even worse than i predicted.

how freakin pathetic is that.

I truly believe he would be a great manager for this team.

We'll miss Kershaw who's dueling with Lincecum as we speak, though I think Timmy's not still in the game...not even sure if Kershaw is either, but still, we won't face him!

he's made some questionable calls, but he's also pushed some of the right buttons.  but i don't know how you can blame your manager when your offense fails to score more than 2 runs against the worst team in baseball (with an awful pitching staff).

Who do we blame for Todd Coffey, Matt Stairs, Sean Burnett et al?

I don't know if he would be or not. I do agree with what he has to say most of the time. It seems so damned obvious, but the Nats don't seem to get "obvious".

First since 28th June (double at Angels).

Isn't that his job?  Or is the manager immune from any blame?  Or is just that Davey's track record is a shield from any blame?
