I want Bourn so bad. This series has been horrible watching him. Sure he's k'd, or got some with no men on base. But when it's counted he's delivered. That's more than anyone on our team can say.

Amazing throw by Bernadina prevents the Astros from winning the game on a Bourn single.

The irony is just DRIPPING in this thread.

We need to save him (as long as we can) in case we eventually take the lead so that he can close it out.  Would you rather see, say, Burnett, in that situation?

He was playing shallow and the catcher was running, lol.

lol Strasburg, how about bourn now?
How about Bernadina, who made a game-saving throw?  I don't see the need to trade the pitcher who kept us in this game in the 7th and 8th to make a modest upgrade to one position.

By the way, didn't Clippard STRIKE OUT your hero Bourn?

'That's definitely disappointing' - Slowes.

...understatement of the day...really awful to lose a series to the worst team in MLB.

see how much a bullpen matters when you can't score runs?
