Another part of this puzzle is Rendon - word has it he's major league ready. What if he's ready by Spring Training? Would you still want to throw the world at Reyes, particularly considering the injury concerns?
Just as there was in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 etc. etc.
Would CJ Wilson want to come here?
I can see the Yanks going after Wilson. He's been tough against the AL East this season. The Nats will test the waters, but I think the price tag will eventually scare them off. Who else is out as far as pitching goes? Somebody mentioned Bedard a while back. What is his status?
DC has an advantage no other city does when it comes to Wilson. DC is the birth place of strait edge.
#spend #spend #spend

LAC
Missing a turn for Boston as a precaution (knee hurts), but he's their #3 starter for the playoffs. He may re-sign with Seattle aftet the season if he really wants to be there, and I could see the likely contender pitching suitors also seeking his services thinking he can be signed on a short, incentive-laden contract.
If we sign Bedard its pretty much a guarantee that ..... hammonds will cream all over himself
If we sign Bedard its pretty much a guarantee that we'll have to call someone up to take his spot when he gets placed on the DL
Bedard is far more susceptible to the DL than someone like Marquis.
Bedard, BJ Upton, and Adam Jones.Sexy-time. Very nice.
No spider, that's BJ Upton.Bedard is far more susceptible to the DL than someone like Marquis.
Ummm, I don't mean to rain on your moment here, but why would we go and trade for both Upton AND Jones?
I thought this was all about making Hammonds' wet dream come true?
Isn't bedard very injury prone?
Ha.We should put one of the racing presidents in CF for an inning. It would just be another absurdity after going so many years without anyone to play the position.
