It was the wrong, wrong, wrong call.

Looking at the replay, it looked like he tagged his foot. I did not see empty space in between the glove and his leg/foot. Looked like he touched him.

The ump was wholly in the wrong. You can't overturn that call.

i know werth's average and power production haven't been there, but his attitude, morse's energy (HOF WORTHY), the young kids ... it's a good clubhouse.

Yup. Mitchell went to Penn State. He had an ok career.

But the list of PSU busts in the NFL is pretty long ... Cappelletti, Ki-Jana Carter, Blair Thomas, D.J. Dozier etc.

That would be reasonable to change it given the position. It's just hard to believe it was that obvious from that distance and the angle of the home plate ump.

That plus the swipe of the glove with the speed of the foot moving through the air, it was only a momentary contact at most.

And for the record, I'm not watching so I can't call it. My only argument is that you can argue those calls. It's in the rules.

Ramos is a decent runner - Werth had a great hit
