well, i stayed home from work to watch the game (live in Seattle and never see the Nats).  Watched the first 8 innings and then walked my dog during the ninth.  Returned to see the Ramos bomb.

I take full responsibility for the first 8 innings.  Sorry.

oh, and F#$% YEAH!!

Mariners TV: 'Dumbfounded', 'Astonished', 'Demoralized'.

Factoring in the time he took to admire the shot as it left the bat, that was a pretty slow trot.  It will be interesting to see how he ranks vs today's other home run hitters.  Could once again be the slowest.

Werth had the fastest trot for his last one.

I gave him the night off after the 3rd or 4th inning.

Credit to Fister, he had the Nats totally baffled.  Getting flyball hitters like Morse to hit into grounder after grounder.  I was so happy when they took him out.

I gave him the night off after the 3rd or 4th inning.  I was tired of his aura.

:lmao:  Nice job Chief. This game was putting me to sleep. Don't know if it was Johnny Holliday, the Nats or both. I got in the bed and watched from a distance. Now I'm wide awake!

I love how the Nats never seem to give up.  They don't go down without a fight very often.  Great job!

You have to believe that without the ball bouncing off the pitcher's leg and forcing him to leave we lose this ballgame.

Thank you Chief. I was acting overly negative earlier. My mistake. The Nats just pwned me.

I was so pissed I turned the game off after the 5th or 6th inning and was just playing the guitar with the Gameday on my laptop in the background. I saw RZ hit into the DP in the 9th and I was like freak it, it's over and then a few moments later I turned around and Espy had singled so I frantically grabbed my iPad and turned the game back on just in time to see him foul the first ball off and then crush the walk-off homer. What an improbable win. I can't believe it :lmao:
