Why does everyone assume Eckstein is to blame? The same thing people always say about Riggleman applies here - can't make chicken salad out of chicken crap.
For me, it's the approaches. It just doesn't seem like we have any sort of gameplan on a consistent basis. Occasionally our talent overrides and we hit some dingers but as for a consistent offense? Doesn't exist.
Now, guys like Ankiel, Stairs, Bixler, Cora just suck offensively so there's not much you can do but when Ian Desmond regresses and looks lost at the plate there is an issue. Eckstein is not to blame, but is he part of the solution?
