Checking in for the only game of this series that I've watched more than 5 minutes of.

Would it surprise anyone to learn that Livan Hernandez has the second-lowest ERA of the Nats' starting five?  Or that he's third in WHIP?

Anyone who voted him the weakest link in that poll because of two bad games should feel foolish.

We have a couple posters here who despise Hernandez.

Sloppy 1st for Marquis but nice to see him be a vet there as opposed to last year when he would fold.

Marquis threw a really nice pitch to end the bases-loaded inning.  The movement on that ball was a work of art.

I like Ray expressing his frustration with the offense.

I like Ray expressing his frustration with the offense.

He makes the most of his opportunities in the booth, that's for sure.

I also agree with him - there is no philosophy of hitting that includes among its tenants "take strike three right down the middle."

Ray will probably be told to STFU by Rizzo just like Eckstein. Soon, we won't be able to talk to Riggleman!
