If he reverts to .260 or .270, as I expect, with the power he has, and keeps playing first as he has, I have no real trepidation of that moment.

He batted .301 last year.  This is who he is.  THIS is the reversion.

They're not not going to score after a lead off double.

He's second in WAR among all NL 2B. Behind Weeks.

Exactly what I was thinking.  He has been reverting for a month now.

I thought Weeks was the leader and Espinosa was second.

That's not fWAR.  fWAR has him first among rookies, but more than 10 veterans ahead of him when you look at all NL players.

I am always amazed how dumb major leaguers are as base runners.

It's like they've never played baseball before.

He was pretty much screwed either way on that play, but that was a really nice play by Hairston.

Definitely not.  Maybe among NL second basemen.

Edit: Nope, not even that.

Kilgore was only talking about NL 2B, I do believe.

I just sent him a tweet clarifying.  The tweet was worded as though it was all the NL.  We'll see if he responds.

Actually, they did. Very Nationalesque.

Strasburg and JZ = $$$$
Maybe Brad Peacock can become a dominant 3rd starter. This team would be so scary then.

At the end of this road trip, the Nationals will have played 26 home games and 40 road games!
