Nice job by Clippard. Maybe our lineup can start playing some baseball now?

So the offense, as ineffectually as it could possibly be, doesn't get the blame?

All of this, the IBB, the walk, blah, blah, blah is just gravy.  When your offense scores 1 run with ALL THOSE CHANCES, the loss can't be blamed on an IBB or a BB or the pitcher!

6 2/3, 2 ER, 6H, 3BB. Sure, it could be better without the walks but again, I think he had a good outing.

Way to go offense.

Yep. Two hits for us. Unacceptable.

that's what i'm saying.  i don't care how much i'm beating the dead horse ... eckstein is freakin awful and the way this roster was put together sucks.  WE HAVE NO BATS.

This is the kind of loss that sends you on another losing streak.

too many walks.

All 3 walks came in this inning with one of them being an IBB. He pitched fine IMO this game. Good thing 1 run was the only damage that inning though.

he had a good game ... 2 runs in 6.2 IP is solid.

it's the bats.  freakin eckstein.

IBB to load the bases, not IBB with the bases loaded.  Huff walked afterwards though, and it was still asinine.

Sanchez had bases loaded TWICE and was all over the place and he STILL didn't walk in a runner!  Our batters wouldn't allow it!!!

Ankiel's shelf life is way past expired. Time to ship him out and let Bernie play everyday

An other team would have scored 5-6+ runs off Sanchez with the way he pitched today

i like the way bernadina played when he was up here ... but let's not make him out to be a savior.

he's a .243 career hitter.

Werth good for nothing but walks and hits with the bases empty.

LaRoche is flat out just a freaking bum. Morse needs to go back on the juice

I'm not convinced it's Eckstein. Some guys are not front-line hitters.

rizzo has to make a move.  it sucks zimmerman is out, but even with him, we are missing another bat.

we don't have one on the team or on the farm that can just come up and magically help (obviously harper is far away).  we must make a move.
