It doesn't matter what the TV says. Gameday uses Pitch f/x which is as accurate as you can get.

If pitch f/x says it was a strike, it was a strike.

Bottom line .. this home ump sucks.

What pisses me off the most, again, is that there will be no consequences for this failure!  I mean, is a loss game like this even viewed as a failure in this organization?  Yes, you can't win every game but there are some games you definitely should win and this is one of them!

And it should be called a failure!

Fine, whatever, it was a hair inside the official strike zone, sue me. Lannan has gotten squeezed on pitches higher than that, if that's going to be a nebulous part of the umpire's strike zone it should have been a ball given the situation.

former expo Guillermo Mota will no doubt be pitching today for SFG. He is a fraud.
this is my lasting memory of the dirtbag.
he nails Piazza and Piazza charges the mound
Mota throws his glove at him and runs for the dugout with Jeremy Burnitz chasing him and wanting to kill him. Sorry I dont know how to embed it.

GREAT at-bat by Wilson Ramos.
98 pitches for Jonathan Sanchez.
