I work Mon-Sat, but I'd like to pick up a Sunday game or two this year, if the Powers That Be deem it possible.

i've been the sunday starter this year, but you can have a go this sunday if you want.

Tough loss for cmd on his first outing of the season.  Solid effort though ;)

I gave it all I could. Went in today with my head high but I couldn't pull it out. All I can do is go out tomorrow and look forward to my next matchup.

I'll do it tomorrow. I have a 5pm deadline so I'll post a ridiculous first post after, with a placeholder till then.

I don't know if this is possible, but I'd like to claim Thurs, June 9, when the Nationals visit Petco Park and the Padres. Not only is it the first game I'll get to see of the year as I live in SD, but it is also mere hours after my last test EVER, as I'm in my second year of graduate school. I will most certainly be going, and I will most certainly be hammered by noon.

The policy is pretty much post here for a game you'd like to start.  As long as no one else has called it before you, you can start it.

Certainly.  I'll make a note in the original post to help remind us.

Ignore him, there are no weekly claims  It's more of a free for all.

Make a thread in the gameday section in the format:

"Nationals vs Opponent, Game X" for home games
"Nationasl @ Opponent, Game X" for away games

It is traditional to add graphics and stats, lineups, etc to the post.  You can copy my format I copied from The Chief who copied it from 2k6

No need for a Game Thread today...because no game today - they've called today's match on account of rain, re-scheduled it as a doubleheader for tomorrow (first pitch still at 13.35; 30min interval between the two matches - http://washington.nationals.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20110416&content_id=17850838&vkey=news_mlb&c_id=was - more information to follow).

I did start the Friday thread so I should get some credit or half a win.

Or maybe I should get it for the late scratch ;)

If Strasburg can get credit for Batista's win, I can too.

I'm back from vacation and wouldn't mind taking on a game sometime this week. More importantly, though, I'd like to point out that per informal and possibly non-existent WNFF tradition, I'd like to claim the entire season series with the Astros. Three games in late July and three games in early September.

I don't see a problem with that.

The schedule is wide open, stake a claim now if you'd like.
