MarquisDeSade seems to be our potential ace. He had the most games started this year and didn't disappoint with a solid 15-13 record.

Just an innings pitcher. Not ace-quality.  Loaded up on late wins against AAA call ups.  He is the equivalent of Mike Maroth and John Lannan - a regular for non-contender, but dropped from the rotation as soon as we get good.  Mindfact.

MDS took a lot of games nobody else wanted (Marlins, anyone?).  To call him nothing more than an innings-eater is patently unfair.  He outperformed the team's actual record over a large sample size.

At 1 win under .500 (just like the team), I would say hammonds is the real zero-balance starter of the group
