at least on the NE regional, Amtrak food is inedible
How does it compare to airline food?
If he has too many cheeseburgers and Doritos, he'll show up to camp looking like Shairon Martis.
Channeling your inner Woody Allen?
I recently took an Amtrak train from NY to DC and ordered one of the cheeseburgers. It comes in a plastic bag and the guy put it in the microwave until it was 10,000 degrees. It looked and tasted like sh-t.Never again.
Had these. Probably the worst thing I ever ate in my life. But it was at a hospital dining room in the middle of the night. From a vending machine. It was that or starve.
On days when I forget or just am too lazy to pack lunch, that's what I end up stuck with out of the vending machine at work. They aren't too bad if you just pull the patty out and heat it separately. If you heat the bun too, it doesn't turn out well.
Honestly, no. I do not recall anyone saying that before so I didn't steal it. I'm not much of a movie buff.
Except for the snacks it's been decades since I had airline food.
living in D.C. and flying mostly United, the only snacks you get are the ones you bring or from the $5.00 snack box they sell you on board. I was shocked when I flew Jet Blue recently and they handed me two bags of chips.
Take raman noodles to work. I'd rather eat China's industrial waste, then whatever that crap is in a vending machine.
Usually they have "home made" things like chicken salad on 7 grain bread, which is good. But sometimes it's just Dale Earnhardt Jr. Burgers or Pierre BurgersOr maybe a Big Az Rack-o-ribs
I don't know which is scarier, the fish or the cheese.
Your plate is the bomb.
I tried to make sure I got enough of the plate in the shot My last one though
