I believe NOTLD and Sean Burnett are the same person.

For a while I thought Chief and Potomac Cannons were one in the same.  My conspiracy theory was that Chief created an overtly hostile account so he could tell us what he really felt about us.

I knew Chief wasn't PCan... because Chief thought PCan was someone else... that is... unless Chief wanted to throw me off his trail.

He wasn't that positive either unless I am thinking of someone else. I thought DC fan was one of those people that only showed up during losing streaks or when the Nationals missed out on a free agent to rub people's faces in it.

Silly Hat induced 53% groundballs last year. The rest were strikeouts

Was a nice resigning.  He's been fairly productive for the Nationals.  As one of their best options with Storen, and maybe Clippard it was nice to see him stay.  I wish we could have gotten Capps back.

Maybe we pick up Soriano for 1/$5m?

Benoit, his setup man last year, jut got 3/16.5. No way he'd take 1/5.

Improving the bullpen would improve pitching...and there's actually someone available to do that.

If anyone should be called Silly Hat, it's Nyjer. He wears his hat almost sideways.

No thanks to Soriano. I don't see the need to give up two draft picks for a reliever when we have a surplus of capable ones.

It's just  a 3rd rounder, and he'd be a valuable trade chip or could garner a 1st rounder if he's on a 1 year deal. Overpaying on a 1 year deal is a smart move.

Agreed, it's like trading a 3rd this year for a first next year. And you get Soriano for a year as well.
