2010 Dunn .379 wOBA2010 LaRoche .339 wOBALike I said they don't even compare.
I don't know how it's calculated... all I know is Dunn killed LaRoche in wRAA (wOBA translated into runs, I believe) (30.2 - 5.4) or something crazy like that.wOBADunn .379LaRoche .339wRAA Dunn 30.2LaRoche 5.4wRCDunn 139LaRoche 107I forgot what it all means... but, I do know that it's not a fair fight.
No one is saying that they're equal offensively. What I'm hearing is that while Dunn + Hammer > Werth + LaRoche offensively, Dunn + Hammer <<< Werth + LaRoche defensively.
Anyone see that the O's just picked up a closer? Excellent...
They picked up Kevin Gregg. I would consider him the same type of closer as Mike Gonzalez. Meaning he is more likely to close the game with a walk-off win for the opposing team.
Hey leave George Sherrill out of this!
Gregg's contract has a vesting option that could take it to 3 yrs and 16-20 million.Orioles suck so bad.
gregg isn't bad.
You said the same thing about the Crab.
i said crab had potential. and he was awful for the nats another i admitted.as for gregg, he's been solid over the last few numbers ... once again ... look at his numbers.
The sun is reporting the contract as a 1yr/$2.6 million deal. Aside from me being a huge lifelong D-Cab fan, I'm really liking this deal for the Nats. Not that big of a risk, with potential of a very high reward.
Look for Adam LaRoche @ Reagan Airport for Thursday physical, 2 year deal w/ aggressive Nats
I had totally forgotten about that. There was something about Cabrera that hammonds was attracted to.
yeah you loser. i said potential. how hard is it to understand?
You said you loved him and wore Crab pj's to bed. Mindfact.
