If we resign Ortiz, Astacio, or Armas, I will go nuts. Any pitcher in AAA is better than that dreadful trio.

The Nationals picked up a lot of injured pitchers and castoffs under MLB's ownership. We have now eliminated $6 million of Livan's $8 million salary. If we dump Ortiz and Armas, I wonder if it's worthwhile to acquire a lot of young promising but still-cheap pitchers. Or if we should at least get one reliably-good pitcher to put the fans in the seats once every 5 days (twice if Patterson can stay healthy.)(Image removed from quote.) (Image removed from quote.)
