how are the Padres 9 games over .500 with this lineup?  Outside of Gonzales, there's nobody to fear.

They're one of the worst offenses in the NL.

I'm jealous of the Nats, we saw a game in this stadium last year, it's a fantastic ballpark, within walking distance of downtown and not far from Coronado Bay.

And somehow Jon Garland has a 2.10 ERA.  At some point this thing has to explode.

They never showed a replay of the pickoff at first, did they?  They launched immediately into a promo for Nyjer leading off the next inning.  Damnit, I would have liked to have seen that.

And I can official retire the opponent starter ERA count for the night.  Richard's ERA will be higher, even if pitches a complete game.
