As much as I'm glad it didn't happen, why didn't they call an infield fly on that?

Probably judged that it wasn't high enough so that it wasn't guaranteed that a fielder could get under it comfortably. Also, even if they had on an infield fly runners move at their own peril so he still freaked up. Of course he probably would not have tried it if he had heard the umpire call infield fly.

love the replay there ... every single nationals infielder was covering their duty (kennedy to 2nd, desmond to third) ... something we wouldn't have done last year
