Brad Lidge just gave up a homer, to the first batter, in his first game back.

He means to replace Bruney.

WTF are YOU smoking that you'd rather keep using this crapbag than give Storen a shot?

I don't recall having said such a thing. And I don't smoke. I'm not a freaking racist.   :pimp:

They should have brought in Walker instead of Clippard.

Oh, come on.

This is so commonplace against the Marlins.

not great? 1.83 ERA and .990 WHIP in 2008. 34.1 IP 33 Ks and 16 BBs

ERA is a joke.  His FIP in 08 was 3.45, and xFIP was 4.21.  That tells a lot about how much luck he had that year.  That was his only year under 5 on BB/9 (4.19) and his BABIP was a ridiculous and unsustainable .200 which explains the very low WHIP and why he hasn't come close to that any other year.

His WHIP every other year has been 1.5, 1.98, 1.4, 1.62, 1.51.  One fluke year where somehow every ball hit against him was caught, doesn't change the fact that he luckboxed it and generally sucks.

freak yes it is.

I've had one person tell me it sucked. And another tell me that the first half rocked but that it was slow for the second half. I have it here but I'm not sure I want to spend 3 hours watching it if it's not all that. I do have a couple of 40s so I could go ahead and check it out.

I watched it 30 minutes at a time. Worked for me. I didn't think I'd like it, but it was great.

What a play!!

Our defense has been amazing and it's saved us a ton of times already in 2010.

nyjer morgan could kick HHH's ass.  probably the only man in the world who is capable of such a feat.  in fact, tony plush should join DX.

Hated it personally but I can see the appeal.
