I wonder how Desmond would hit if he had Nyjer on the bases and Dunn and Willingham behind him. My batting order surgery would be Desmond 3d, Nieves 7th, and Guz 8th.

Obviously... but, he's wanted to play pretty much every game... just thought it'd be easier for him to catch an extra day with a day off to rest tomorrow.

Not at 38. It would be easier for him to catch a double header than a quick turn around. Getting old sucks.
