You're a good guy houston-nat, a true Hoosier. Tell you what if you don't mind I'd like to do the gameday thread for Sunday's game, Stammen against Arroyo. If I haven't started it by 2 hours before gameday that means I probably forgot so you can go ahead and take it. I'll get the next series @ Cincinnati in July. I'm looking to bust out of this recent 2 gameday thread losing streak I've had. 8)

Alright, my friend. I'll try and build on my 1-0 record tomorrow and wish you the best on Sunday. :)

so...um...who get's June 8th?

Since Strasburg is a rookie, (and the best one to arrive in MLB in a generation), I think a rookie poster on WNFF should start that GameDay thread.  It should be his/her FIRST GameDay Thread, since this will be Strasburg's FIRST MLB game.                                                                                                                                                    :worship::worship:

1st all time post would be stunning.

A moderator could probably identify people who registered here since Opening Day 2010.  I've seen new people READING GameDay threads, but they don't post in them.  It would be ideal to get someone like that to do it.

If it's a veteran poster, I'd suggest kenz aFan to do it from Montreal.  He watched the Expos get effectively dismantled by MLB.  But he continued following this team long after it moved here.  He made many valuable contributions to this board.

I don't know. You don't catch the rookie when the rookie debuts. Maybe the better approach is to use a crafty veteran thread starter.

Ken got pissed off (as is his inclination) and stopped posting here.  If history is any indication, he'll be back at some point, but for now he's posting on the MLB board exclusively.

He has a twitter feed that's pretty out there, too.

I'm not sure how you're going to score a win or a loss for today's Gameday thread...maybe retroactively depending on whether or not we sign Harper? 8)

I had a couple of emergencies at work that are going to have to take precedent to the GDT.  If we can get a spot starter for tonight, I'd be greatly appreciative, I can certainly go tomorrow or Friday if tomorrow's claimed.
