Capps should focus on not giving us a heart attack.
Didnt say go out there and pitch underhand.  Nationals need to change their demeanor and kick sand back at opponents.

We need some first pitch strikes here.

Oh, I have no problem with it either. That boy deserves to cut loose a bit after his performance. I just found it unusual they would put up that info.

My recollection is that Clippard began with the Yankees, and was highly touted to be a starter with them.  I seem to recall picking him up for one game in a fantasy league back then.  If that's all true, the New York press may already be familiar with him (and disappointed that he didn't save the Yankees pitching woes back then.)

I don't recall Clippard having much of a chance to break that line-up. Coming to Washington might have been the best thing in the world for him.

I didn't get a chance to see it, but I'm glad to see they won.  They played well?  What was the overturned GS all about?

Ha -- Livan requested to be taken out. Riggles wanted to send him back out until Livan said he was done.

Ah, sounds like Livo took himself out. Livo is always honest about whether he is ok or feeling he is running out of gas.

MASN WILL REPEAT THE TELECAST OF THIS GAME:
TOMORROW MORNING AT 9:00 AM

Mets spent so much money to get Santana that they don't have much for others.  Always nice to let them think they wasted all that dough.
