Good to see Ryan Langerhans get called up by the Mariners (Josh Wilson, Jesus Colome also on the club). I took having Langerhans on this team for granted ... decent player with some pop, blue collar hard walker and good clubhouse type.

Yea he was a solid defensive OF who could draw some walks for us. He was a good guy to have on the team.

former Nat Corey Patterson had a good game for the O's today. Hit a solo homer but just saved the game for the Orioles on a pretty good throw home (great play by Wieters). And no I'm not saying I wish we'd still have him, b/c he was awful for the Nats. But good for Patterson to have two good games after being recalled from AAA. Love hearing about stories like that (and Bernadina yesterday).

Apparently the Reds are the ones who really did the shafting in that trade. They traded us two guys who can't play worth a damn near sea level

man, the past two year's teams have just been the absolute worst in every conceivable way. incompetent FO, passive manager, players who didn't give a crap.

I don't think he was. He seemed genuinely frustrated by his failures. Felipe didn't look like he could give two craps.
