How long do the Dodgers stick with Haeger?
Four runs, five batters.
No, I mean, how long do they keep him at the big league level.
Good to see Ryan Langerhans get called up by the Mariners (Josh Wilson, Jesus Colome also on the club). I took having Langerhans on this team for granted ... decent player with some pop, blue collar hard walker and good clubhouse type.
Yankees designated hitter Nick Johnson is unlikely to return to action before the first week of June, and in fact may not play again before August.According to GM Brian Cashman, Johnson's sore right wrist may require surgery to remove inflamed tissue, which would keep him out of action another four to six weeks on top of the month he already is expected to miss.Cashman said Johnson got a cortisone shot in the wrist last weekend in Boston, but it will not be known for another couple of weeks if that course of treatment was effective. If not, then Johnson is headed under the knife for at least the third time in his injury-plagued career.
Unfortunately, who didn't see this coming?
AUSTIN KEARNS IS MY HERO!!!!!!!
So at what point do we say he was dogging it last year like his buddy Felipe?
I don't think he was. He seemed genuinely frustrated by his failures. Felipe didn't look like he could give two craps.
