North of 3 bills.

No way.  Belliard, not Dmitri.

So they guaranteed his contract because he lost 3 lbs?  That doesn't make sense.  I lose that much after a few cups of coffee.

I think the Dodgers were worried about him gaining weight, not getting him to lose weight.

He's listed at 5'8", so I'd guess 5' 6".

Then somewhere around 215-220 might be more accurate.

I thought he was taller than that.

looks like Kearns makes the Indians and Church is the 4th OF with the Pirates. Anderson Henandez sent back to AAA by Manny.

Maybe he'll knock over Shin-Soo Choo in shagging BP flies so he can get out of his Korean army service stint.

I think Choo is going to become an American citizen, so he doesn't have to go anyways.

I didn't know Ramon Ortiz was still in baseball!  And aren't the Dodgers supposed to be good?  How did he make their staff?

Langerhans DFA'd by the Mariners.  I hope we don't pick him up as the RF option, even if our current RFers aren't working out.

They gave him one AB as a PH and *then* DFA'd him?

Must've had a really bad spring, I guess.

Dude, you didn't tell the whole story.

Langerhans was DFA'd to make room for Jesus Colome.

I'd laugh, but look at our roster.

Oh good Lord. Langerhans will take a walk or 12, wouldn't be the worst thing in the Universe.

Really solid fielder, occasional pop.

Nice 2-run homer by Belliard. His swing is a bit quicker this year.

Any over-under on when Nick Johnson does something other than a walk or an out?
