A-Rod came across like such a pompous douche in the post-game interview I'm siding with Braden no matter what the unwritten rules are.

Edit: Also, if you watch the video, he ran right over the mound and really close to Braden. I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to run over the mound like that, particularly in the middle of the inning.

Yeah, pitchers are really particular about the condition of the mound while they're pitching.  I'd never heard of such a rule either, but it comes as no surprise and seems like a matter of simple logic to me.

My mistake, I thought it was between innings (like, jogging off the field to go hit). I didn't realize he jogged over it right after making an out. That does seem out of line, especially if there was no issue between them during the at bat. No reason to get that close to the opposing pitcher.

Plus, no reason for A-Rod to go out of the way to knock the guy for being a nobody. Braden's Captain line was pretty childish too though.

Andruw Jones hits two home runs for the White Sox, including a walk off game winner as the Sox beat the M's.  But we're still in last place.

It was actually after a foul ball. A-Rod was on first, ran towards third and when it was called foul he ran right back over the mound.

The MLB Network guys were talking about this yesterday and they said that A-Rod is the only player that would pull this and that it's definitely against etiquette.

Quite a game by Andrus last night.

MLB Quick Pitch is a great way to start the weekend. :)

Is that a segment on the MLB network, or... ?

Yes, sorry... it's the MLB Network equivalent of Sports Center, but is superior to Sports Center in every way.

I don't get the O's this year, on paper they have a ton of young talent and an outfield to die for, yet they absolutely suck.

That's a guy I've wanted on the team for the past year or so since the Classic.

It's as if the whole team completely regressed (except for maybe Weiters). They really need a new manager.
