No it didn't.  The view from field level showed it pretty clearly.

Actually, I really couldn't tell conclusively, but the instant when the foot hits the bag, it appears as if the glove is right in front of his leg but not touching it.  It's so close.

Why don't they go back to FLop?

K-Rod hasn't been the same since serving that dish up to J-Max last year to end the season.

Can you pitch, go to the field, and pitch again? Go to Lohse then.

Yes.

In fact, last year, Sean Marshall was pitching for the Cubs and he got an out. Lou stuck him out in LF for one hitter when he brought in a right hander... and then after the pitcher got the out, he brought Marshall back in to get the next out.

Hell, in college... there's been a pitcher that picked up a win and a save in the same game. In between, he went to 1B for a couple innings.

How do you sell 7 hours of ads? Do the sponsors get 4 free hours?

He threw 128 pitches. Of course, his last pitch was 97 MPH. So, the dude brings the heat.

Ubaldo Jimenez is considered one of the two hardest-throwing starting pitchers in professional baseball, along with ... well, you know.

I just got back from a concert to find that Ubaldo pitched a no-hitter and it managed NOT to be the most amazing ballgame of the night. Wow, Cardinals and Mets. That's just unbelievable.

Bryce Harper would definitely pitch.  Desmond has a good arm and I think Kennedy would pitch pretty well too.  But come on we'd all go nuts if we saw Morgan, Dunn or Zimmerman pitch.  How awesome would that be.

I posted this facebook status:

"Ha.  Braves got no hit.  Beautiful."

My Braves fan friend didn't take that so well.
