20 pitches, 12 strikes, 2 HRs, 1 ground out, an error (I think), and 2 Ks.

Harris draws a 7 pitch walk, then Kennedy lines one to the pitcher resulting in a double play.  Zimm just dropped one in the OF and stretched it out for a 2B.  Dunn lines one to the wall for an RBI 2B.

Stras just struck out his 4th batter with a 97 MPH fastball for his third K in a row.

5th K on a curve ball (or maybe slider according to Ben).

Didn't come unraveled after the 2 HRs, so that's a good sign.

Nice rebound after the 2 solo HRs (one of which was apparently wind driven).

Why isn't this on MASN?  Are they truly stupid enough to think that Stras pitching won't draw a bigger crowd than Chudbird classics?  CBS is dropping the ball by showing a meaningless 1 v 16 matchup right now making this a prime time to showcase the biggest cause for hope in the teams' future.

That's 98 through 6 pace.  I'm so tired of 6 inning pitchers.  We need another innings eater instead of these all-time best prospect pitcher types.

They've scheduled him for 4. We'll see, though.

I think giving up HR will be a problem for Strasburg for a while. In college, none of the hitters hit those fastballs out of the park which is why he only allowed 5 in 3 years. In the AFL, he allowed 3 HR in one outing. That's another reason why he could use some minor league time.

not only has he been the best starter in spring training, it's not even close.  I know they need to keep him down until late May, but there really doesn't appear to be any reason why he can't succeed at the major league level now.
