Nats win 14-9.

In other words, the Nats score as many runs as the Redskins scored points.   :|

maybe Detwiler might get his first win, maybe Dunn jacks 2 homeruns to get to 40, maybe Maxwell shows that he CAN be a great lead off hitter, maybe Ian Desmond and Gonzo commit no errors, maybe Morse shows hes better than Dukes.......

Oh, sure I still care.  That doesn't mean I'm going to go out of my way to watch though like I did earlier in the year.

Softball score. Nice.

More like a score for a Redskins game.

Well, that sucks.  We only get to see Sunday's game if the Braves are still in contention!  >:(

Yeah, that was my thought as well, but then I thought the gods might be doing us a favor in that case.

-stop-

Isn't this the same pitcher that whined about Dukes cheerleading from the dugout last year?

Yeah, I think so, called the Nats a team of girls playing softball or something like that, didn't he?

Detwiler, like Balester, is fine except when there are runners on base.

Dibble is right when he says Detwiler is only 23 years old and he needs time to develop. If these guys played on any other team they would be only " September" call ups! The same goes with Balester, ( 23) , Strasburg ( 21) etc... these guys need time to develop.  Just my opinion.

You are correct. Give them time to develop. These guys will be good Major league pitchers in a few years. I hope with the Nats, but if not, they will be with somebody!

I hope they are good pitchers sooner rather than later.

How is CB doing?
