Rethinking what I just posted, just SHOCKED me.

This team, in less than half a season remaining, could loss 60 MORE GAMES! And it wouldn't be unreasonable to think it!

Is it me or does the Houston PA guy sound like The Grim Reaper?
He sounds like Adam Carolla?

There might not be a clubhouse fight, but I foresee some tension between Dibble and Knight.  Getcha motherfreakin popcorn ready.

Seriously?  I've bashed Dunn all year but he is far from dogginig it out there.  He's hustling - it just doesn't look like it because he's a DONKEY.

Your boy Ray doesn't agree w/ your boy Dibs, sportsfan.
it'll be interesting to hear what they have to say. I agree with Dibble though. He sees the players every day and rides on the plane and bus with them. He knows them best.

Knight is judging them from afar by watching them on TV like you and I.

They aren't mailing it in. They just aren't that talented. Especially the pitchers.

yes. seriously. Him and Guzman are two of the biggest culprits for dogging it. He is not hustling. He is slow to getting to balls, always throws to the wrong base. When he does throw to the right base the throw is way short or off line.

Dunn's ABs have been awful. Swinging for the fences in every AB. popped the ball straight up in the air in a crucial situation with runners on base and no outs early in the game.

Exactly, Rob. they are smiling and laughing the dugout. I saw them in the 9th inning doing just that.

We have no one to step up in locker room to demand more from this team. It's pathetic.

Knight calling for Guzman to be benched. He doesn't care if he's hitting .320.

This is great television. I wish I was recording this. Dibble and Knight are golden.

Dibble said Guzman is pouting. $8 Million dollars and that SOB is mailing it in and killing this team.

Geez we're bad. We have officially hit rock bottom. Dibbs and Knight are done sugar-coating this thing. Knight flat-out said they need to clean house.

what did he say?
Dibble said the team has given up and they are they just mailing it in. Used words like pathetic. Said that Acta needs to find out who wants to "play" and play them tomorrow. Enough of the pieces of crap just here to collect a paycheck.

He started his rant in the 9th inning and then continued it in the post-game show. great stuff

...Dunn's ABs have been awful. Swinging for the fences in every AB. popped the ball straight up in the air in a crucial situation with runners on base and no outs early in the game.

In an interview over a few months ago, Dunn explained that the reason his batting average shot up this year was that playing on the WBC team affected him.  He said his job in Cincinnati was to hit home runs, but with the USA all stars, he realized that he had to get a hit in clutch situations, and not strike out.  I think Dunn has fallen back into his old habits, because he's gotten used to playing with a bunch of LOSERS.

Dib's is right about Philly's Jimmy Rollins.  Despite being an All Star for the last World Series champions, he was benched for 4 consecutive games about week ago, because he's sucked almost this whole season.  I dumped him from my fantasy team.  (and I dumped Nick Johnson a few days ago.)

Well, gosh. Suddenly I'm glad that in the middle of the sixth inning I went off to read a book.

I guess Lannan mailed it in then. And all of Zimmerman's errors happened because he mailed it in.

They are talking about one player. The TEAM hasn't given up.

It's a misdemeanor for failing to do so.

We're still waiting for Acta's presser.

certain players have played hard every time. lannan has. stammen. hell, all the young pitchers have. can't blame them.

but guzman, belliard, hernandez, just about everyone seems to have had moments where they just don't care. who knows. maybe its just that we're a team full of quiet guys.

maybe we need a jose guillen. i think we do. the team is way too laid-back.

how many ejections this year? one? acta, when he got kicked out during commercial?

Maybe he can video tape it and input the video into a Japanese program so we can all watch an anime version of it ;)

Okay, that's confusing. Manny just said that Lannan threw it to one side of the plate too much. Are our catchers calling the pitches now?
