I love it. Dibble is just killing them.

"I have never seen a team that is okay with losing. It is unbelievable that the last half of this ball game has been non-existent from a players perspective."

Guzman is mailing it in, no question.

I think that is who he is referring to the most although there are several guys out there that aren't getting it Dunn.

It'll be interesting to see if betwen now and tomorrow's broadcast whether we will see an indication that someone "gets" to Dibble.

The Orioles scored 5 runs in the 9th, yesterday, to beat the Mariners.

The Orioles just recently broke a franchise record, coming back from a rain delay to score something like 9 runs to win.  Meanwhile Acta is more than happy to hand over a loss in a rain delay, with no argument to the umpires to finish the game.

Manny... so content with losing...

Dibble just asked why there were no fights in our clubhouse after the series in Colorado and after the events that are taking place tonight.

Just as I have said all season, Dibble said he has never seen a team so comfortable with losing in his life. He has concluded that most of them have given up.

freak no, he is one of those that Dibs is talking about. at least 2 horrible plays a night defensively and his bat hasn't compensated nearly enough lately. he is a lackadaisical loser.

77-161 since last year, according to Dibble.

And about 60 more losses to come this season, according to me.

Yup. Manny doesn't need to throw a chair, and doing so now would just be a joke after being so carefree about losing all season. But it is continued comments like this the other night that show he just feels like they are destined to lose:

Quote
" . . . . Asked if Detwiler might benefit from further time in the minors, Acta said, "That's not my decision here. I get these guys, I get them ready to play and I play them. We all knew that this kid was not gonna every five days cruise here. He was pitching in Class A ball last year, so we have to take that into consideration."'

Seriously?  I've bashed Dunn all year but he is far from dogginig it out there.  He's hustling - it just doesn't look like it because he's a DONKEY.

yeah that was awful. freaking lame excuses.

the players are to blame as much as Manny though. they are dogging it and have been for weeks now.

I think that is the first time I have ever heard a TV announcer say what all the fans are thinking and rip the team for giving up and not playing with their all. props
