Two outs

Bunting is his best chance of getting to first base!

And still, Adam Dunn is a much better outfielder than first baseman!

Lannan is about done for the night.

Guzman can't go to his left at all.

Don't give up the run, trying to get a double play!  We can't afford to give up any more runs!

Quote
Dibble on working with the Nationals: “Four years ago when I was a finalist for the job but the timing was just not right for me. Things have changed I now am happily married and my wife and I talked about me doing the Nationals broadcasts. We thought that the time was right and so after talking with Stan Kasten [Team President] of the Nationals and Chris Glass[Executive Producer] of MASN and we were able to workout a multi year deal that I hope keep me part of the Washington telecast team for a very long time.

And we KNOW that the Lerners-Are-Cheap will NEVER eat a contract, for a broadcaster.

why don't we have any hitters that go up with an approach like that and hit the ball to right-center?

...but it would have been nice if we'd scored a few more runs!  We certainly had the opportunities.

I KNEW I should have dumped John Lannan from my fantasy team after the spot start.
There goes the Quality Start.

Natinals     4
Astronauts 4

That's one thing Keppinger has always been able to do. Most players can't do it. Gwynn was one of the best.

Morgan did kind of freak up on that play, though. He ran in towards the ball instead of running back.

Morgan looked shaky defensively in the Rockies series too. wasn't catching up to those fly balls like he was at Nats Park.

what a joke.

Bourne nearly hits the ball out of the park.

Dunn sleeping in the OF costs us another run. But The Chief has his eyes closed.
