Colome wtf?

They couldn't have called up Clippard. I wonder who started that rumor.

Rumor? MLB.com has him listed on the roster.

That's not a rumor. That's fact.

he's on the nationals.com roster and NFA Brian even has the move on his site.

As bad as Martis was this game the offense had plenty of chances to make this a game and they failed miserably.

I'm hoping that Rizzo has seen the light about Hanrahan, and he's gone after the game, with Clippard taking his spot tomorrow.

NFA just copied what he saw on here and what is posted on mlb.com

Neither Chico or McElroy posted the move.

So you believe a beat writer over the official MLB website?

He's also listed on the Nationals in his MiLB page.

What more do you need?

This. Our offense has been in a slump for months. We are dead last in the MLB in runs this month.

You can bash RZ all you want (he deserves it) but any real manager would have given him the day off today.

Could Willingham have gone back on bereavement list for some reason or another?

what is the corresponding move? How did MLB.com get the move if the Nationals haven't even made a move yet?

T-Clip might get called up tomorrow or after the game tonight but he isn't on the active roster right now.

I'm not bashing Zimmerman. I'm just calling it as it is (I don't have a crush on ZImmerman so I can be objective about him). I'm only trying to balance out your ridiculous statements defending Zimmerman and bashing other players or your blaming Acta for everything that doesn't go right for Zimmerman (didn't you also blame Acta for Zimmerman's hitting streak ending at 30?).

no. he was on that list for the maximum amount of time.

they may be right. the only bullpen guys I could see them getting rid of is either Wells or Joel. Colome is throwing well.

Maximum amount of time in one stint. But maybe something else came up and he could go back on it.

yeah it's not acta's fault.  zimmerman is the one who has been struggling.  can't make any excuses for that.

well clearly and why didn't Acta recognize that and give him the day off today? I guess it just made too much sense to do that. :?
