OT: Anyone bet on the Kentucky Derby?

I'm rooting for Dunkirk.

Why is St. Claire talking to him? Does he want him to suck?

i would.  i'm more of a nats fan than caps, but i still like the caps.

So am I but I see the difference in the impact of a playoff game for the Caps and an April game for the lowly Nats who are not going to the playoffs.

No, but Horse Racing seems interesting. How the hell do you become knowledgeable about such a sport?

i see the difference too ... but that's how big of a nats fan i am.  i'd take a nats win over a caps/wizards playoff win i'm sorry.  now if it were a terps or redskins game, i'd have problem.  to avoid any of those choices, just everyone win and i'll be happy.

95 pitches after 8. Martis can ABSOLUTELY finish this game, too.

It evened out on that DP.

Let's give it up for Maris.

He was King Kong on the mound for us today.

There really isn't a perfect system. Whenever I go to the track, I look at the horses' race/distance history, the trainers, and the jockeys. Then I guess. :D

You guys don't like Debbi?  She's married to a baseball guy, so she knows a lot more than you bloggers do.

You look for whichever horse just pooped. Then you go bet the ranch on them because that means they'll be light on their feet.  :icon_mrgreen:

I do NOT want to see Julian or Kip in the ninth.

I repeat, do NOT want to see either of those two clowns in the ninth.
