Game of Thrones just had its episode that will take everyones souls until the show is over. This episode was almost on par with the episode in The Wire that took everyones souls.

Epic episode.  And it absolutely owned the episode that HBO previously pimped as "the episode everyone will be talking about."

Yeah, they were pimping episode 7 but after last nights I don't remember any other episode

And I take back what I said earlier. This episode IS on par with that Wire episode. I'm hooked.

American University's Kermit Washington, who went to the NBA Lakers in 1973, is the guest on Doc Walker's Pro View on MASN right now!

I sat behind him at an AU game two years ago, and talked to him at the March Madness pre-game party at the Phillies' club room before the game at Villanova in 2009.  He's in his 50's but still a BIG guy.  He averaged 20 rebounds per game at AU and grew 4 inches after high school.

I was thinking of starting to watch that show, I'd heard it's good (I've read the books). My guess is that the Lannisters killed him (end of book 1). Not saying who he is to not spoil it.

And I don't have HBO either, but you can watch it online.

So I'm watching Game of Thrones... did Loras Tyrell really give Renly Baraethon a blowjob? I don't recall that happening in the books... also, Renly wasn't exactly a wussy.

almost done caught up with falling skies (saw the premiere last week) ... it's good.  if you like the walking dead, it's almost identical to it.

still have to get into game of thrones, watch the rest of franklin and bash and see sunday night's true blood.

Falling Skies is a conglomerate rip off of Terminator, The Tripods series, Survival Of The Dead, and a bunch of other movies and shows, but it is still good.

good point.

noah wylie is a good actor.  the cast is very solid.

again it's unreal how close this is to the walking dead (except it's aliens and not zombies).  but the acting, corny jokes, plot, theme of survival ... i highly recommend both.

Yea Falling Skies is solid. Not great, but solid. It's enough to fill the void between new seasons of the Office/Parks and Rec. I've never seen the walking dead or most of the movies people compare this to, so it doesn't bother me that it's so similar. it's a pretty simple story, but it's entertaining.

RIP Friday Night Lights. Best show in the history of ever.
