ugh thats why I sort of hate Pawn Stars. I know thats their job but they undercut so much.

I'm sure half the people just want to be on tv

It's pretty obvious that usually Rick's offer == owners offer / 2.  So just double what you ask for and you'll get what you actually wanted.

I take it you've never been a crackhead or desperately needed money that day.  Most people are total morons so crap like Powned Starz is horsecrap.  I'd love to see one for some craphole in Florida without the manufactured drama.  Ali da bazzzzeballz kkkkats can probably speak to how great that crape would be.

Hardcore Pawn is kind of that show. Detroit, and all that ensues. I started watching it recently against my better judgement and actually found it entertaining in a reprehensible sense. It's a decent look at a real pawn business if nothing else.

I mean I like the show and a lot of the people are dumb but the Rick always freaks them over it seems.

The Pawn Shop is a lot fairer than the pickers. The Pickers rip people off who are bumpkins. Rick makes money off of unwise gamblers. Rick is legit.

  Rick doesn't buy Nazi items.

I've seen the pickers have someone ask like $20 for something and they say "no, it's worth more than that.  I'll give you $50."

I like Pawn Stars for Chumlee, but Rick seems to give low ball numbers.  The old man is even worse.  "I want $300 for it."  "I can go $200, that's about top of the line."  "Can you do $250?"  "I can do $175."  WTF, I'd tell him to suck a fart out of MDS' anus.

They do that, and they also offer $10 for $500 stuff sometimes.

I've never see them offer $10 for something they know the value is $500.

Anyone watched BBC Robin Hood? I'm watching the first episode, it's quite good. Also, Maid Marion :az:

Also, Up All Night is must-see TV if you have young kids.

Pretty sure Breaking Bad is the best show on television.

Friday Night Lights wins an Emmy for best writing and Kyle Chandler wins an Emmy for best lead actor! Both incredibly well deserved.

Yes. The book is great, but the TV show takes it to a whole new level after season 1.

Two and a Half Men with Ashton Kutcher was pretty lame tonight, as expected.  Not going to be anywhere near as good as it was with Sheen

If you have netflix streaming, you must watch the Top Gear Bolivia special, series 14 episode 6.  It's brilliant.

Hammond is truly petrified of insects, James reveals that he has a phobia of heights, and Jeremy says his phobia is of manual labor.  You can imagine how things go for Hamster in the jungle, and for Capt. Slow while driving along the "El Camino de la Muerte" or Death Road (James goes after Clarkson with a machete.)

Also, in the end, the Range Rover wins the challenge, showing that the most unreliable car in the world is the most reliable car... in the world.

Had a funeral for him, said he was tripped/pushed in front of a train and "exploded like a balloon full of meat."
