World War II in HD.  History Channel series, tons of rare footage, interviews, journal narrations, etc.  Very intense.

Its been on for a while, and should definitely be on every history buff's list. Awesome!

Watched "Saving Private Ryan", and "Band of Brothers" over the last month, had never seen either one.  Both incredible in their own way.

SPR we watched on my brother's home theatre setup, in Blueray, excellent sound and picture quality.

Working my way through "Band of Brothers" right now.  Finished up episode 6 yesterday.  I was going to try to watch it all straight through over the weekend, but it was too much.  Simply fantastic though.

Band of Brothers gets better every time you watch it. I think I've watched the series 10+ times already.

Somehow, we skipped the Garden Market (Holland) episode.  Didn't figure it out until we were up to around episode 8, went back and caught it then.  definitely one that should not be skipped.

What did you expect?

Sort of a round, fuzzy picture with slurred audio, I guess.

Haven't waded into Modern Family.  Anyone seen "Parenthood"?  I love a good drama and this one has been very good, IMO.

I've caught bits and pieces of Parenthood. Haven't really seen anything that ties me into the family... but I might give it a shot once it gets a large number of episodes up on OnDemand.

I like Parenthood. And BlueRay? Great picture and sound, and always has a beer at hand, along with a fantastically sharp humor. I may be repeating myself, but when my son came last summer to visit he mentioned he had not seen Band of Brothers (even though he gave me the complete DVD set). So we stayed up all night watching all 10 episodes, plus the extras. he was blown away (no pun intended).

I can't believe how great Battlestar Galactica is.  Everyone should seriously rent the series if thy haven't seen it.

if you are a child of the 80's, the Journey concert from Manilla that's airing this month Palladium is must see TV.  the new lead singer is really really good.

I watched Valkryie until about 2:00 AM last night, much better than I thought it would be.

So every summer, I start watching a couple of TV shows and watch all the episodes on like surfthechannel or something. What shows should I watch this summer? I want at least one to be comedy. Here are the shows I currently watch:

The Office
How I Met Your Mother
Leverage
Entourage
Scrubs (over)

Any suggestions?

The second season of Hung starts next Sunday on HBO. I like that show.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is one of the funniest shows ever, IMO. You should definitely watch that one.

Never seen Pawn Stars, not a fan of 30 Rock, but the other two are awesome.
