Can't watch On Demand for channels you don't get.
I don't get BBC America or The Science Channel, but I've watched a bunch of on demand stuff from both.

 It always told me I didn't have access to that package. I mean, it's a great advertisement for the channel, just never worked for me.

Pretty crazy episode of The Pacific last night.

Snafu tossing rocks into that dude's head was so disturbing.

Anyone see the Carpet Brothers episode of Funny or Die on HBO with Tim Meadows, David Spade, and Will Ferrell?  I'm not quite sure how to describe it, maybe if Quentin Tarantino was forced to direct an episode of the Mod Squad?  It's worth 30 minutes of your time.

I don't subscribe to BBC America, but I can watch the offerings for that channel and others that I don't subscribe to on Comcast On Demand.  You just click on the menus to see if it works.  They have hundreds of FREE uncut movies.
 :uk:
NBC shows on Comcast on Demand were $1 per view for years, but they're now FREE, and there are LOTS of TV series aired.  Probably because Comcast is acquiring NBC and nobody will pay $1 anyway.

still need to finish off the most recent seasons of How I Met Your Mother and Friday Night Lights.

Almost done with season 3 of The Tudors.

The first five minutes of V were riveting this week. Finally nearing the quality of the original series. Haven't finished the episode yet.

Betty White on SNL last night was absolutely hysterical, though I fell asleep as weekend update started.

I loved the PBS spoof; watching them discuss her 'muffin' was hilarious.

I'd give The Pacific a 7/10. Didn't like the finale, though.

Lost was awesome. I enjoyed the ending. 6th season was probably its weakest IMO but it was a satisfying ending. Could've been better though. I'm just bitter its over.

I wholeheartedly disagree.  Veered way too far from the original concept of the show.  IMO the show started going down rapidly with the introduction of the Ben Linus character and the interview with the actor in the first hour of last night's show confirmed my belief that the writers really had no direction for the show beyond season two and just flew by the seats of their pants.

I used to believe that you could have a weak script and that as long as you had engaging characters to buy into you could have a successful play/film/show.  Lost really shot that theory down.  Great show with great potential in seasons 1 and 2 with a really disappointing middle stretch and unsatisfying ending.

The finale was a little too predictable, but it was okay. Solid show on the overall.

Gave up on the show after season 3.  Just horrible writing with M. Night Shyamalan level delivery.  Glad that tripe is off TV finally.

World War II in HD.  History Channel series, tons of rare footage, interviews, journal narrations, etc.  Very intense.

Everything he says and does is classic. Plain and simple. I love when they are at the strip club and he's totally bored until he finds the breakfast buffet.

Yea I've been watching it on and off all day. Really cool stuff. The raw footage of kamikaze attacks was something I'd never seen before, really shocking stuff.
