JGardner on OH is claiming he has new insider info
He says it is bad for the Sox, and there is good and bad for the O's. He has made no mention of us yet.

He said he won't post it without getting permission, but now everyone is starting to freak out.

great. more crap.

His whole act and this whole spectacle he has created there is seriously the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

Hey guys, I'm sleeping with Jim Bowden's daughter, and she says Teixeira will announce his choice Saturday at 7 pm CST on the QVC network.

Jon Heyman says whatever number the Red Sox floated last night at the infamous "no longer a factor" meeting, it was their final offer.

Does the Juan Rivera signing mean that The Angels are not going to try to sign Tex anymore?

Doubt it has any connections.

Signing and OF won't stop them signing a 1b unless its money issues.

I like his rankings. Don't know whether any national sportswriter has ever listed it this way?

And while they may feel slightly less positive about their chances, they are still considered alive, along with the Nationals, Angels, Yankees and Orioles.

Not exactly for good reasons, though.

But I'm sleeping with Scott Miller's daughter, and he told me that the players who acted unprofessionally have mostly been cut from the team since then. :)

interesting sentence from this article:

Quote
Sources familiar with the Nationals' thinking say the bitter aftertaste of losing first-round pick Aaron Crow last summer is what finally changed Lerner's thinking. The Nationals were following baseball's recommendations for "slotting" -- paying first-round draft picks signing bonuses recommended by the commissioner's office -- in negotiating with Crow, the No. 9 overall pick. Other clubs ignored the recommendations.

It ended up costing the Nationals -- who, remember, have emphasized building from the ground up -- a key pick.

One person with knowledge of the Nats' winter approach characterized Lerner's attitude this way: "I've tried it their (baseball's) way. Now I'm going to try it my way."

They refuse to mention that half of our team was out for at least 50 games.
They are speaking so far out of their ass

For three years, Nationals president Stan Kasten and general manager Jim Bowden have talked about building an organization the right way -- going young and constructing a strong farm system.

Smart, and admirable. But as the club has learned the hard way, by failing to sign any serious free agents over the past couple of winters, that doesn't inspire the fan base. Especially when 102 losses are stacking up in a given season.
