If he's scoring at a high rate for when he reaches base, that's mostly due to luck. However, Nick runs the bases very well, he has good speed for a big guy, and is smart in his judgements. And, he's often starting on 2nd. But still, there's probably luck in the timing of hits behind him.

I could live with Dunn in LF and Willingham at 1st. I'm just through with NJ. I hope we can trade him and get something decent in return. We can't keep giving these guys a thousand chances. Hill should be gone also.

Agreed on Nick. I love watching him play. A lineup of Nick Johnsons would kill opposing pitchers, score a bazillion runs.

That rule should be written in stone with severe penalties for violating it because I've had some jerks resort to those measures. That's one of the reasons I now wear a cup.
