This is pretty much how it works. Redskins are number one, followed by whoever is hot at the moment. At the moment, the Caps are hot, and the Wizards and Nats are not.

He can't answer any questions about players under another teams control. That violates the no tampering rule.

Jim, we heard the stories about the near trade with Colorado for Willie Tavaras. I'm wondering why go after another outfielder when there's already an overcrowding issue there with young talent ready to come up in the near future.

I remember that...it was all questions about what Jimbo eats for breakfast, which player on the team is the best dancer, etc. All the juicy questions were ignored.

It appears as if the idea that he wants to play for a competitor in the East, while that’s a priority, it’s almost neutralized by the fact that there’s an enormous attraction to the Orioles. He grew up in Maryland. His family is there. His wife has very, very close ties to that area. There’s something that kind of keeps bringing he and (agent) Scott Boras back to the Orioles as a hometown, ‘I’d love to play for the team I grew up watching,’ (destination).
