I'll also remember what all of these Dunn worshippers are saying now when he strikes out 200 times and makes Dmitri Young look like a gold glove first baseman.
40 HRs + 25 doubles + 200 strikeouts >>>> 1 HR, 5 doubles, 30 strikeouts and 300 ground ball outs.
but I gather you'd rather have the Casto/Belliard combo at 1B for another season because striking out is the ABSOLUTE WORST THING YOU CAN EVER DO at the plate. being a ground ball machine is much, much, much better than striking out a lot, right?
personally, I'd rather improve and have a better offense than the one we had last season that was among the worst offenses in baseball.
I don't care who it is. it could be Dunn, it could be some random guy off the street. as long as what we have going into the season is better than what we had last season. I guess to some folks, this sort of thing doesn't matter. we could have the worst offense in baseball again next year, but it'll be fine because at least we won't have Adam Dunn striking out 200 times in our lineup, right?

that's all I'm saying.
