Roger should have swung at the 2-0 pitch right down the middle.

Gary Sheffield and Placido Polanco of the Detroit Tigers, and Fausto Carmona and Victor Martinez of the Cleveland Indians were ejected for their parts in a bench-clearing brawl in the top of the seventh inning. The Tigers lead the ball game, 4-2.

Idiot, Polanco's on my fantasy team...

Headley doubled to center, Kouzmanoff to third.
Nice flub, Milledge.  (Give him some gum tomorrow, AZ.)

The pitch selection is just baffling. Why did they call for so many breaking balls in that situation?

Dukes' OBP is nearing .400

I remember in the offseason I said he had decent plate discipline and would have a high OBP and someone ripped me for it.

Balester was hammered tonight.

You can't make this crap up.

I don't get the pitch selection at all. Why so many freaking breaking balls??!! His sinker is beastly but he's not even throwing it. Made no sense to throw a curveball to Venable in that situation when Venable hasn't proven he can hit it.

Don't blame Mock, please. He'd struck out 2 batters, he was given a bases-loaded, no-out situation and almost got out of it.
