Max wants to know what the Mets plan. He's unhappy, and he has a big contract, but the Mets not be able to trade him unless they pay most of his $43 million salary for next season. He cannot force much, and he sure cannot force another team to pay that much.

A source confirmed the NY Post report that Max Scherzer threw a chair last night in a postgame meeting with #Mets brass about the direction of the team, then dismissed Eppler from the room to go find another "[expletive] closer." (Via @martinonyc)
