I really wanted to see a Celts-Bucks series with Giannis, Middleton, and Holiday all healthy. I thought they suffered a lot last year without Middleton.  Of course, Celts too might not get out of the 1st round.

Wow. The Bucks blew an even bigger lead. The end for Coach Bud?

Hawks I think should have a very good future. I love Trae Young. Their bigs are effective and he has a few shooters around him.

It's odd, but this may be the peak of the Celtics as a dominant team. Brown's contract I think is up after next year, and he may not want to continue as the alternate to Tatum. Horford was extended but at some point is going to lose effectiveness. I'm not sure how much longer White is under contract. Time Lord Williams has not been fully healthy for 2 years, and a deep playoff run will shave a couple of months of off-season recovery. G Williams is as good as gone; Mazzula is almost coaching as if he knows that and is aiming to play those he thinks will be around.

I love the Brown/Tatum combo. I really don’t like heliocentric teams like the Heat or Mavs. I think putting up a good fight against a better team or maybe stealing a round is the best that you can hope for with that setup in the modern NBA.

Just imagine if John Wall had developed a consistent jump shot. He would be De’Aaron Fox. Did Fox and Monk play together at UK?

Wall would have missed the game with a sprained something

And Beal.

Warriors losing is nice. Maybe the Lakers can lose also.

Sounds like no Embiid the first couple games. No worries.  Sixers have Basketball Paul.

Wow. Big upset. I guess they sit Joel in game 2?  Bad two days in Boston. I could go for some Wawa hazelnut coffee tomorrow morning.

Harden had a trip to Vegas between rounds.  Visiting the strip clans rejuvenated him.

The Celts got the ball inside a bunch of times but somehow missed their Dunks.

:mg:

Seriously, some really disastrous passing inside. Somehow the bigs, especially Time Lord, kept needing to put the ball on the floor where it was swiped. That, and Harden being able to work switches to get Horford isolated on him far from the basket with an open lane, were killers. Brown had some horrible stretches of me ball where he had multiple turnovers.  Good effort by the 76ers players, and probably Doc deserves credit too.
