it just seems crazy that the Mavericks don't even make the playoffs after going to the conference finals last year. They need to clean house.

yabut going into last night they were a half game out of 10th.  Tanking to avoid the playoffs is a bit different from tanking when you are well out of playoff position.

Combine that with being a zero on defense, when he gets back instead of complaining about non-calls, and you really have the early 2000s Phillies. Unfortunately, the league is better. I think last year is going to be the outlier in Luka’s career.

Mavs problem is they let Brunson go and traded away role guys who played defense like Dorian Finnegan Smith. And Dinwiddie. You don’t expect 6 foot nothing to play defense and rebound. You kind of do for a 6’10” guy.
