The announcers were saying it looked like Scherzer was hurting last night but trying to pitch through it. It didn't work.
He may just be getting old and cannot hold up for a full season. Even a short one. I mean last year he missed a playoff start with a dead arm. Is that an injury or just age? I suppose it’s semantics.
