My girlfriend and I have been doing the Whole30 diet in January. There's a lot of substitutes for a lot of classic stuff (like sauces) with varying successes but it's been a lot of chicken, potatoes (thankfully allowed when baked) and vegetables/fruit. I've lost almost 6 pounds in 2 weeks (169-163) and overall feel a lot healthier, which is the biggest thing they harp on - this is supposed to change habits more than just cut weight. So that's good. but damn if I want a freaking donut.

Some meals we've made or are making

- Zucchini Noodles & Meatballs
- Pulled bbq chicken & potatoes
- Stir Fry chicken & vegetables (cocunut aminos instead of soy sauce)
- Almond milk with bananas and almond butter as a dessert
- Homemade chicken tenders (almond flour + eggs + organice/whole30 bbq sauce)

Learning to cook more vegetables and use fruit as a snack vs. chips or peanuts or ice cream or whatever.

freak almond butter though.
