I had a freaking young male cardinal fly THROUGH my spokes will I was riding to work today. Good thing it was a steep uphill, or he would have been radish slices. I stopped and watched him for a while as he sat on a branch and contemplated what had just happened, and then he buzzed off to the upper branches to my relief.
