awful. We should have scored a bunch more off of Hampton. It will likely prove costly because Redding will give it up.

Need runs. Nice to see Hinckley warming up. We need to get a lot of looks at him before the end of this season.

Yeah, because if we don't keep him on the 40-man he is a FA right? Same with Speigner and a few of the others too I think.

We've only seen Hinckley once but I think I'd prefer him over Manninng.

Chipper is a lazy, selfish reject.

Great hustle by Bonifacio!

Interesting that Redding gets a "quality start".

IMO, quality starts should be min 6 innings, min 2 runs... especially in the NL.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot 1 run was unearned.

Man, is he for real? He's been hitting well, but I'm not sure if we should commit to him. What do you guys think?

Redding is what he is. A 4.50 ERA pitcher. #4-5 at best. Nothing to be ashamed in like I have said before.

Last 3 starts:
6 IP 2 ER
6 IP 3 ER
5.2 IP 3 ER

Solid bench player that is fairly young (25). Can't believe they actually gave us a decent player for crappy Ayala.

Yeah, that's why we need to see if he is really back to something worth keeping around. We need lefty relievers. Manning is ok to come in to face that one batter, but he has struggled more than he should have, and is useless against righties.

Good thing it wasn't Manning facing all those righties.

Dammit, SD is down 1-0 in the bottom of the 8th. We can't afford a WAS W + SD L.

Not many pitchers chew... more batters than pitchers.
